William Herbert Rorer

William "Willie" Herbert Rorer, 81, of Elberfeld, Ind., passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at his home.  He was born April 9, 1936.

Willie was a long time diesel mechanic working at Banner Trucking, Rose Brothers and Buchta Trucking.  He enjoyed restoring cars, fishing, car shows, and helping others.  Willie was a member of First Baptist Church in Elberfeld. 

Willie and his family would like to send a special thanks to the staff at McDonalds on 41N for their kindness and ice cream.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Pansy May (Pitt) Hayden.  Willie is survived by his wife, Nina Lee (Brown) Rorer; son, Shane Rorer; daughters, Abigail Moll (Mike), Joyce Tyler (Bob); grandkids, Nick Moll (Michelle), Brandi Moll, Chad Shoptaugh, Paige Rorer; half sisters, Linda Wolf, Lana Burnett; and brother, Dalton Rorer.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 25, 2017, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Volkman Chapel, 2nd & Elm Sts., Elberfeld, IN, (812) 983-4211.  Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery.
