Woodrow Wilson Breece, 93, of Kirkwood, Missouri, formally of Evansville,
passed away Monday, March 1, 2010, in Washington, Missouri.
Mr. Breece, the son of David and Etta Breece, was born on May 15, 1916 in
Posey County Indiana. He received his education at Delaware Elementary
and Central High School from where he graudated. He was a member of St.
Joseph Catholic Church for many years before moving to Kirkwood,
Missouri. On February 15, 1947 he was united in marriage to Mary Lou
Breece, nee Monarch. He was employed by The Chrysler Corporation for 42
years, and supported WWII Tank Production at the plant in Evansville.
Woody and Mary Lou lived and worked in Kirkwood, Missouri for more than
40 years before moving to Washington, Missouri.
Mr. Breece was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Charles
Breece and Frank Breece, two sisters; Elsie West and Lois Bassett, and
one son, Barry Breece.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Mary Lou Breece of Kirkwood,
Missouri, a daughter Barbara Sullentrup and husband Burton of Washington,
Missouri, two sons, David and wife Kathy of Charlotte, North Carolina, Larry
Colter and wife Cathy of Dublin, Ohio, 13 grandchildren, 17 great
grandchildren, nieces, nephews, many relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin with prayers at 9:30 a.m., Saturday,
March 6, 2010 at Titzer Family Funeral Home ~ Miller & Miller Colonial
Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St, Evansville, Indiana (812) 424-9274, and
continuing with a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 610 E
Virginia St., Evansville. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, with a Rosary Service at 7:30 p.m.,
and from 9 a.m. to service time Saturday at Titzer Family Funeral Home ~
Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel.
