Wynema Shourd Kunkel, 97, passed away Friday June 20, 2014 at North Park Nursing Center. She was born on March 5, 1917 to the late Dolly (Hardy) and Herbert Hodge in Massac, IL. She was a charter member of Bethel Church and lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter #555. She retired after 25 years with Bristol Myers. Wynema is survived by her son, Jerry Shourd (Jenny); four grandchildren, Michael Shourd (Nicole), Robert Shourd (Stacey), Vicki Lindgren, and Carol Vaught; several great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. with services at 12 noon on Thursday June 26, 2014 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Meyer Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St. Evansville, IN (812) 424-9288. She will be laid to rest in Parklawn Cemetery at the side of her husband, Melvin Shourd , who died in 1965. Condolences may be made at www.titzerfuneralhomes.com.
