Meet our staff, members of the local community who make everything that happens possible.
Todd Titzer is the owner and Chief Operating Officer of Titzer Funeral Homes. He is Russ & Pam Titzer’s oldest son. A native of Southern Indiana, Todd grew up in Loogootee where he met and married his neighbor and high school sweetheart, Lisa. He graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He is an active volunteer in the community. Todd is the President of Newburgh Senior Center, past President of Historic Newburgh Indiana, distinguished past president of the Kiwanis club of historic Newburgh, active in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Men’s Club, and a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th degree. Todd and Lisa, have two children, Nicole and James. They are members of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
Laci, a native of Ripley County, IN graduated from Jac-Cen-Del High School. For many years, Laci worked in the healthcare setting, which included working in a medical office and managing office operations. Laci then returned back to school and graduated from Mid-America College of Funeral Service with an Associate's Degree in Mortuary Science. She resides in Newburgh with her husband, Curt, and their two daughters Kayla and Maddey, and mini schnauzer, Klaus. Laci enjoys the outdoors, flower gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. She has proudly worked for Titzer Family Funeral Homes for 3 years.
Hanna is from Fort Wayne, IN and a graduate of Bishop Luers High School. She graduated from Vincennes University with an associate’s degree in Mortuary science. She is currently an intern at Titzer Family Funeral Homes with the goal of becoming a licensed funeral director. Hanna lives in New Harmony, IN with her Fiancé, Mark, and her cat, Monica. Hanna enjoys spending time with family and friends, working on creative projects, scary movies, going camping, and being outside.
Russ Titzer is the owner and retired Funeral Director of Titzer Family Funeral Homes. He graduated from St. Meinrad School of Theology in 1964. He graduated in 1966 from the Kentucky Institute of Mortuary Science. He has 50 years of experience in the funeral home business. Russ is a native Southern Indiana Hoosier. Russ and his wife, Pam moved to Loogootee, Indiana in 1971 where they owned and operated a funeral home and raised their children there until 1997 when they moved to Newburgh. Russ is an active member of the Knights of Columbus 4th degree for over 40 years. Russ and his wife Pam are members of St. Benedict Cathedral. Russ enjoys spending time with his six grandchildren.
Pam Titzer, Owner/ retired Administrator, is Russ Titzer’s loving wife, they have been married for over fifty years. She has worked closely with Russ in the funeral business his entire career. Pam also enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.
Home to have an incredible extended staff made up of people who care deeply about the families we serve here at the funeral home. Some of the part-time staff have been here for many years, and our families take great comfort in knowing they will see the same faces they have come to trust when they walk through our doors.
