Meyer Chapel is located in Evansville at 100 E. Columbia St. Gilbert Meyer had operated it as a funeral home for decades. In 2005 the Titzer Family acquired the Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, which was established in 1940, on Franklin Street, by Raymond Sr. and Marguerite Miller, The Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel now operates from our 100 E. Columbia St. location. It has a large chapel for visitation and funerals, ample off-street parking, large family room designed for refreshments during calling hours or after funerals. Titzer Family will continue the same dedicated services that was established by Gilbert Meyer and the Millers.
Our Simpson Chapel is located in Newburgh at 510 W. Jennings St. in the Historic District along the Ohio River. It was constructed in 1966 as a funeral home by Virgil Simpson. The Titzer family purchased the property in 2002. Recently the building has been completely remodeled with extensive expansion including additional, beautifully decorated, chapel space, and expanded entries with additional access from parking lots. Our family room is designed for refreshments, not only during calling hours, but is large enough to accommodate families for funeral meals after
services with an easy access entrance.
Our Volkman Chapel is located at the corner of 2nd and Elm Streets in Elberfeld. The structure was built around the 1930s and was originally the Heldt Funeral Home. Ted Volkman later owned and operated it as a funeral home. The Volkman Chapel has been a part of the Elberfeld community for many years and the Titzer family is dedicated to continuing the hometown legacy.
